Round Lake Evolution FC is awaiting an official league ruling following the September 5 away fixture against Berber City FC.
Round Lake Evolution FC entered Saturday night expecting its second match of the Fall 2026 UPSL Premier season.
Instead, the club left Chicago without a normal league result.
Evolution’s scheduled September 5 road fixture against Berber City FC remains unresolved as the club waits for an official ruling from the league.
The match had been set for 7:00 PM at Dunbar Park Turf, but the night ultimately produced a situation that now requires a decision from UPSL before Evolution can officially record the outcome.
Until that ruling is made, Evo will not list the fixture as a win, loss or draw.
It creates an unusual start to a fall campaign that has already brought its share of frustration. Evolution opened the season with a narrow 2–1 defeat against Chicago Strikers, a match in which a late Evo equalizer was ruled out for offside.
The Berber City fixture was supposed to provide an immediate opportunity to respond on the field. Instead, the club now has to wait.
For Evolution, the focus shifts to what it can control.
The next scheduled league match brings Evo back to Round Lake High School Stadium, where Ethos United is due to visit on September 16.
The club will provide an update regarding the Berber City fixture once an official ruling is received from the league.
Vamos con todo.
